This weekend I visited my best friend and we got close to zero pictures together, mainly because we were so busy in the moment that we just forgot. It was honestly a little nice to forget about my phone and documenting each moment of my life- instead I was just living it. Sometimes we all just need that reminder to not watch our lives pass by through a digital screen and to truly soak in what is happening all around us.

I was able to snag a few photos of my outfit I wore to brunch this morning. Details of my outfit are linked below.

*The handbag I have is a few years old, and is the Rebecca Minkoff MAC crossbody Ostrich with gold hardware. The Mini MAC that is provided in the link is quite similar. The earrings I have are made by Bauble Bar and purchased at Nordstrom a few months back, but no longer on the website. I found a similar pair also made by Bauble Bar available at Bloomingdales!

I’ve Got Sunshine on a Cloudy Day

After a beautiful, sunny Sunday morning in the sunshine state, we are spending the remainder of our day in comfy clothes with some crazy rainstorms outside.

This weekend consisted of time with my future in-laws: boating, wedding planning with our incredibly talented coordinator, church and lots of good food!

This yellow wrap dress was perfect for church and a late breakfast, and will be an amazing transitional piece from Summer to Fall. The dress is very lightweight and comfortable and cut appropriately for most occasions! It’s currently on sale so you can snag it at an amazing price!

I’ve linked some of my favorite finds from their website, both under clearance and normal listings. The majority of my picks are awesome for Spring and Summer, but if you live in the South you’ll probably get great use of them almost year-round! I’m a sucker for sweaters since for me they are such a treat to wear (being from Florida our cold weather lasts about 17 seconds), so I’ve linked a few light sweaters I’ve found too. One even has a pineapple.. how can you go wrong with a pineapple sweater?!
